Madonna MDNA concert review: LAST POST
To most, in sure ang sasabihin nyo.. FINALLY! natapos din! haha!

Pagpasensyahan nyo na, addik lang talaga ako sa kanya to the buwis nuhay level. So the interlude for this segment was parang collage. I had to research anong deeper meening ng video na toh. But before i go into that, check the video here first.
When you hear yung mga unang “I’ve had so many lives, since I was a child” part. You would see Madonna’s photos sa video na nakacollage. Sabi sa mga reviews the ending of the 1st part “How many times I’ve died” deals with how the press tried to kill/bury her career. Tapos with the same collage feel, biglang nagpasok na sya ng mga historical utash both positive and negative tapos may mga situation sa gilid. Some of the characters were Trayvon Martin, Marine le Pen, Sarah Palin, the Pope, Hitler and more.
Halfway through, you would see different teenagers who commited suicide as a result of bullying plus the RIP message and their name.
The last segment of the backdrop parang resolve yung pinakita nya kasi puro positive images of people kissing: different races, straight couples, gay couples, even older couples and parents with their children. So in the end, with the interlude, pinalakas lang ni Lola Madge yung message nya sa gap 3 post ko.

This segment parang may feel na androgynous levels. Doble cara! choz! So she started it with our favorite na Vogue. And hindi nagpakabowg ang lola nyo. Banat parin ng banat and VOGUING parin ang ganap!
Of course, bet ko din yang Mic na nakasabit! I think nung bagets ako ginagaya ko yan using straws!
Vogueing was actually uso dati sa 1960s. But then tinodo ni Madonna ang pagkauso when she made it a song, so naging main stream na sya! Yes, masasabi nating indi ang vogueing dati! choz!

So the ganap for the video para sa mga Madonna fans, same sya ng treatment for her superbowl. Yung background was showing stars also like Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich at iba pang ganap! Yung pinakadifference nito sa SuperBowl nya, full version toh! PUSH!
Right after Vogue, shogality na yung cone bra and corset so white top nalang ang ganap! Napaka classic talaga ng white polo, kareer kahit pang concert lumalaban!
The next song was Candy shop with medyo mga Erotica lyrics yung “put your hands all over my body”. BET!! Dancathon ako ng mga panahon na toh!
Right after Candy shop may mga lumabas na salamin… alam na natin toh!! HUMAN NATURE!!!
She kept the song super close to the original, hindi ata nya minix eto., But for me perfect na kasi yung Human Nature, d na kailngan i mix! Visual feast!
Hindi ko nakunan yung ganap ng mirrors since busy ako… sumasayaw! haha!
Hahanapin ko sa baul yung mga pinstripes kong pants at mahiram nga yung chain ni liempo!

The last song for this segment, pineg ni lola Madge ang bomba star ni Vilma. choz! Ayan hubaran levels na!
After seeing her, nahiya bigla yung katawan ko, peg ko sya pag 50s na ako!
She reworked Like a Virgin. I honestly like the dancy version of like a virgin but pwede narin toh, maiba naman.
Some concerts, medyo nagpakita ang lola mo. Smain may mga pinakita sya. Peg nya lang si Matt Gozun sa pagpakita ng nippies! And in fair, ang firm ng pwetella nya sa tback!

Madonna Gap 2!

This is her first outfit for this gap! Chume-cheerleader ang pegaloo! Costume designer and stylist Arianne Phillips wanted a 1940’s type of marjorette levels! Bet ko toh! nakakarelate ang mga beckies sa barangay! Marjorette!
So her first song was Express yourself for this gap.
In fairness, batang barangay si Madonna! Lakas makabagets ng costume!
Ganito ka todo ang lola mo, parang nang aasar! haha!
Since dati pa naman may issue yung Express yourself and sabi daw ginawa lang dun ang born this way ni LADY GAGA. Bigla nya itong kinanta! She sang it complete with GAGA dance steps. At that point akala na natin binigay ng Lola Madge mo kay Gaga… then right after.. KUMANTA SYA NG SHE’S NOT ME! Ayaw talaga ibigayyy! Kakaloka! Check out the video here!

The next ganap alam na natin pag may video na lumabas.. magpapalit outfit na ang lola! So she had a video interlude of her songs na “Holiday”, “Into the Groove”, “Lucky Star”, “4 Minutes” and madami pang iba! :) Since Madonna fan ako, parang lahat ata keri kong kantahin!

Ok, yung next segment nya yung pinaka madami kong chika. It’s actually my fave part. First i like the idea na may drum beat and pag edit ng OPEN YOUR HEART. One of my fave songs from her!
I love yung parang ang saya ng drumbeats and pinalabas nya rin yung son nya na si ROCCO to join pero sandali lang! In fair, anak nga sya ni MADONNA! Galing umindak!

For this segment she introduced “the Kalakan Trio” from the Basque Country joining her on tour. Love nya daw sila. so love ko narin. haha! So the background changes to BASQUE COUNTRY levels.
With this they also sang SAGARRA JO! Yung parang chant chant :)
eto massakto coz the video i borrowed from youtube shot in the Paris concert. But i heard kasi sa ibang countries, hindi pinayagan kumuda ang Lola Madge mo. But in this video she explains SAGARRA JO and what it means. And also, she started talking about fighting for freedom. Sobrang meaningful pa sa PARIS concert kasi her concert was during Bastille day. All about freedom. SAGARRRAAA JOOOOOO!
Well, sa video they included narin the next song called MASTERPIECE.

You can even hear me shouting.. touch ako dito. Ewan ko kung feelingera ako but she nailed it. Her message was clear.
So as lola Madge said … Sagarra Jo just means smashing apples. Ganun kasimple but the deeper meaning is that it’s an act of fighting for something. Showing you are standing up for something.
She also added this:
“So while you are fighting for freedom. Remember the person standing next to you. And remember that fighting for freedom just for yourself is a waste of time. Fight for freedom for everyone. And that means that we treat EVERYBODY with human dignity. We treat everybody EQUALLY. So the next time someone puts you down for your sexual preference, for your (d ko marining kasi sumigaw ako ng i love you), for the color of your skin, for whatever you believe in. YOU JUST SAY TO THEM… SAGARRA JO!@#$$%%%%”
Here speech was less dramatic than Lady gaga’s. No crying, no ganun. Love ko sila both, but nasight ko talaga na i think experience and years ang naiba kay Madonna. The way she said her speech, she won’t let or allow anyone be defined by these pangkukutcha or negativity in life. You are bigger than that. Parang na feel ko sa sinabi nya na, deadma kayo dyan. They should not define you. You define yourself. And lalo naman hindi nya satin tinuro to ibato ang nega back to them. SAGARRA JO.
I think I am drawn to people who are passionate. Kaya siguro super bet ko si Madonna. So remember, next time na may mangapi, may magsabing trying hard ka, or dugyot, walang silbi… Wag nyo na pakulam. Wag nyo murahin.

MDNA: Preshow and 1st gap

This is LOLA Madge’s first outfit. She worked with JPG (na nasight namin from my background post) and Jeremy Scott. Alexander Wang, may Herve din daw, Prada shoes and D&G made the clothes of the band and vocalists. Fausto Puglisi also made mga custom vest and ram hats, plus of course mga Jbrand jeans.
But for this specific outfit, this came from LOLA MADGE’s line called TRUTH OR DARE (if tama research ko). Meron din shoes yan, all out this fall :)
This is it! Let’s do the first gap and the preshow. Remember, some videos and photos are not from me. Para lang full experience. Since we didn’t have a photographer pass, hindi madala ni V yung giant camera nya. And since ang dami kong kinuhang video, naubusan pa ako ng memory card and battery. Lahat na ginamit ko Iphone, blackberry and all.
So here it is, right before the show. I can’t say super duper aga, i’m sure may mga nagcamp out levels. But we were sakto lang. There are a lot of different areas, yung sinasabing golden triangle, by lottery and ni rraffle ni LOLA MADGE yun. While the Golden Cirle , where we are chambahan yan. Chichika ko sa inyo paano ko iniyakan para makuha yun. D sya umubra sa website website lang. IYAKAN LEVELS talaga. Malapit man sa stage… ang kagulow lang is walang upuan but kahit nga 24 hours ako nakatayo, kakayanin ko for Lola Madge!
Also, this post has a lot of videos. So better ata na itry nyo load muna lahat before reading and playing para in order. As in blow by blow talaga itich. Try ko walang mamiss para sa inyo :)
Pasensya na sa colors ng camera. Hindi ako marunong magset. haha! Kamukha ko tuloy si Snooki ng Jersey shores sa pagkaorange.
I was gonna wear something heavy but buti nalang i grabbed my malabangus na outfit. Dahil matagal tagal pala bago kami makaupo. Baka tumoloy yung scoliosis ko kung tinuloy ko yung damit ko na may bakal bakal.

Next song nya.. REVOLVER. She was going to our side so we were able to grab some videos. Pasensya na iphone ata karamihan.
Inikot nya ng bongga yung stage with a gun. And nagstart yung kanta just like the album na may parang gun shot. Then sa background, you would see Lil Wayne sa screen.

Background story: MDNA Blow by blow
I know you guys have been waiting for this but syempre dapat i should make it full experience for you guys. Walang labis walang kulang. So Baka madamihan ng parts toh.
Please bear in mind na para full experience nga kayo, some photos and videos are not from me.
The MDNA ganap was held in Paris. Technically, 2x na akong nag attempt manood ng Madonna before, parehong fail dahil una nagkasakit ako, 2nd wala akong nakuhang tickets :( So when Madonna announced na may world tour sya, daily habit ko magcheck and talagang nakaabang ako to buy tickets. Naiyak ako ng slight when hindi ako nakapasok sa internet site nung for ABU DHABI concert nya. Believe it or not lahat ng windows ng browser ko nakapila, biglang sold out. 1 hour ako naghihintay. So sadness na talaga.
Guys, months months ago toh. Ganun ang pagkasold out ng Lola Madonna. So when they opened Europe, 2 lang choice ko. London and Paris, since Kermit Tesoro nga will be studying there, needsung kong gumora at maghanap kung saan sya makikitira. So dun may chance ako. Sakto din since JULY sya sa PARIS and LONDON, and pasukan ni Kermit AUGUST. Pwede ko isingit ng bongga si LOLA MADGE.
First of all, i need to explain… OBSESSED AKO. FANATIC ako ni Madonna. The time i was supposed to see her and I got hospitalized, i really tried to drink hindi prescribed na herbal medicine para gumaling kagad at parang na overdose ko ata ang sarili ko sa herbal dun dahil inisip ko masbibilis akong gagaling levels. FAIL. EPIC FAIL. Sumobra at lalo pa akong tumagal sa hospital because nag ka tummy problema pa ako sa mga ginawa ko. I had nightmares na umiiyak ako paggising kasi hindi ko nakita si Lola Madge. Yes, ganun ako ka OA. Only fanatics would understand.
Lahat ng kanta nya feeling ko relate sa buhay ko. LAHAT as in lahat. At my happiest si Madonna ang tugtog ko, at my pinakacrayola momemnts si Madonna parin. I have the complete DISCOGRAPHY of Madonna. Walang labis, walang kulang. Siguro kung alam ko lang anaong kinakanta nya sa shower, for sure meron din ako. Pati personal graduation song ko (I went from Grade 11 to 1st year college so never ako na ka graduate na may rampa sa stage involved) ay THIS USED TO BE MY PLAYGROUND na magisa akong gumawa ng graduation with my manangs sa gilid ng balur namin. Para lang ma-feel ko.
Eto pa masmalala, KINDERGARTEN ako at naka-MADONNA ang costume ko for United Nations. Walang connect but pinilit ko talaga. Sabi nila nagiiyak daw ako ng bongga so pinagbigyan ako. While everyone was doing the UNITED NATIONS dance, magisa akong nagmamadonna sa stage. Hindi charot toh. May prueba akong photos…
Ayan, pati yung look ni Madonna prinapractice ko.
I know may betamax ako nang ganap na toh. Kasi umiiyak ako bakit hindi magaya yung hair ni Madonna. So siguro para mauto ako, tinaas nalang ni yayey.

Halata naman may sarili akong dance number d ba? haha!
I really hope hindi sya na shock sa mga tuwad tuwad dance ko. At sana hindi na-office ang mudak ko.

So siguro get nyo na kahit slight ang pagkafanatic ko. Numerous times pa akong naging Madonna for halloween. Kahit nung kuma-kanebo white pa ang funda ng lola madge, ginaya ko din yun.

We arrived on the 12th and her concert was on the 14th. I just wanted to be extra extra safe. Kaya may buffer akong one day.

We also came early when gates opened at 6pm. 8pm yung starting act and 12 midnight nagend. In short… 6 hours akong nakatayo…. but for Lola Madge, kahit matulog pako dun. Keri ko.
